4 Bone Broth Drinks You Need To Try

We still get a lot of strange looks and reactions when people hear the words Bone Broth Protein… If it’s new to you, you probably just raised an eyebrow just raised and questioned our sanity. The reality is that it’s  nothing new. Bone broth has been made for centuries and only in our current food economy made into a cheapened product.

Bone broth done right touts amazing heath and healing properties. As a modern super food it brings along 20g of protein per 12 ounces, supports joint health, gut health, and healthy hair, skin, and nails.

Read about Bone Broth Protein in more depth.

But don’t let the name intimidate your taste buds. If the health benefits don’t persuade you to at least try it then I have some tried and true recipes that are sure to satisfy your taste buds!

Do you like Hot Chocolate?

You’ll LOVE this. It was one of my favorites that I suggested to all clients. The feedback from one client was “Amazing, it’s like drinking a Starbucks Hot Chocolate!” Only this will be infinitely more healthy for you. The best part about it… It only requires one other ingredient you will always have in your home, not to mention quite a bit cheaper! Are you ready?

I have added some coconut milk to it but really, it doesn’t need it. It is outstanding by it self.

Looking for something more fruity?

Depending on who makes the smoothie in our house depends on how well it turns out… Me, I like a lot of things, so when I sit down to concoct a smoothie I look around and say. “Yes, I like that, and that, and that…Oh sweet, I didn’t know we had that!” and continue to include it all into the blender with no respect for what flavors go, or don’t go with what… My wife on the other hand has quite a bit more tact when creating. When coming up with our first Banana Creme BBP Smoothie she had first dibs.

Blend it all up and enjoy!  It is delicious. After the fact my mind got thinking that it would be even better with a (large) spoon of nut butter, or strawberries, or cocoa power, or maybe all of them together…I’ll let you know how that goes!

Growing up in New England I have some pretty fond flavors, smells and tastes depending on the season or occasion. One is apple picking in the Fall. The vibrant color of the foliage, the crisp smell of the falling and rotting leaves, and HUMUNGOUS leaf piles we would jump into and run through. We’d always go apple picking. Now like most fruits and vegetables the the flavor of it when you pick it and straight away eat it is something out of this world compared to it being store bought.

That’s no different with a hand picked Macintosh apple off the the tree and polished on your shirt in the orchard. The sound of your teeth cracking into the crisp apple, and the flavor that explodes from it, delish! To wrap up the day, or any crisp cool fall day, nothing says fall like a nice hot cup of apple cider! Now what I typically grew up with was a powder of “apple cider” aka sugar and apple flavoring…Thankfully Ancient Nutrition introduced the Cinnamon Apple BBP and my mind instantly went to memories of my New England Fall’s. The Ancient Nutrition BBP doesn’t disappoint with all the amazing benefits of Bone Broth plus all the memories of Fall!

With Thanksgiving Weeks away here’s a holiday treat that will not disappoint your guests. In fact you’ll find the original version in Dr. Axe’s book Bone Broth Breakthrough (our gift to you when your order Bone Broth Protein from us here at Fit Soldiers). You’ll find Pumpkin Pie Smoothie at the bottom of page 59. After a couple minor tweat to the recipe that we served up at our recent charity Boot Camp for Cold Weather Care. The instant reaction from our clients was priceless, I wish I had it recorded… Needless to say people LOVED it! Some saying that if it was thicker they would use it for pumpkin pie filling.
