Recipe of the Week: Tuna Salad

PN Tuna Salad

Clean up your tuna salad or sandwich with avocado not mayo. From our friends at Precision Nutrition, this is our go to when it comes to tuna. It’s fresh full of flavor and guilt free!

  • 1 Can Tuna
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato, Diced
  • 1/4 Cup Red Onion, Finely Diced
  • 1/2 Cup Carrot, Shredded
  • 1/2 Avocado, Mashed with a fork
  • 1 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbs Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pinch Ground Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Paprika
  • 2 Leaves Romaine Lettuce

Mash avocado with fork in bowl. Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika and mix well.

Add tuna and remaining ingredients to bowl and stir until well combined.

Place half of the mixture in the center of a lettuce leaf (or tortilla). Then place the other half in the center of another lettuce leaf or tortilla.
