We’re born with it. No it’s not Maybelline.
Experts say we make 35,000 of them each day!
The most powerful thing we as humans have at our disposal is the ability to choose.
God gave us free will. Allowing us to make choices, and lots of them.
- We can choose to get out of bed, or not.
- We choose the clothes we wear, or not…choose wisely.
- We choose the food we eat, which ultimately will help or hurt us.
- We choose to honor our spouse, whether they deserve it or not.
- We choose to workout, including the the intensity and how present or distracted we are in it.
- We choose to say “I’ll start working out…eating better tomorrow…” as well as many other excuses.
- We choose to stay up too late.
- What we fill our minds with.
- And the people we hang out with.
Ultimately the sum of all these choices and more physically, nutritionally, mentally, spiritually determine our health in those areas.
We’ve all made bad choices. Some minor, other more significant. Nobody is exempt, not even us your coaches and trainers.
But that doesn’t change the fact that the most powerful thing we as humans have at our disposal, right here, right NOW is the ability to choose.
Will you choose to magnify and bring out the greatness in yourself and others?
If you’re ready to choose to take ownership of your health and fitness, we’re here for you. 720-382-5240

Hey Fit Soldiers,
This is a little last minute so bear with me it will have a huge impact. Our friends David Jack and Tom Hurly with ActivPrayer are in town next week leading a sales team building event for Boiron, Naturopathic Pharmaceutical.
When they do an event like this, or any event it is always with a deeper purpose than Raah Raah Raah, rather an inspired action dedicated to something beyond themselves! They are partnering with two local charities Growing Home, and Broomfield FISH. The timing couldn’t be much better with Mother’s Day being Sunday this charity drive will go to support local single moms and families in need. Read More
It’s not uncommon for us to host charity events. Part of our core values is to be sacrificial. Meaning if the sweat, reps, hard work that go on within our four walls doesn’t leave here to become more then we’re wasting our time.
This past weekend we had several firsts. In our gym and community. What had originally been planned as an Obstacle Course Training Open House (not a first) changed it’s tone a couple weeks prior. An unfortunate first was that three local Colorado Obstacle Course (COR) ladies Kym, Corrina, and Elizabeth. They were excited and on their way to the Arizona Spartan Race were the victims of a tragic drunk driving accident. One took the life of one and left the other with severe injuries.
I’m 40 years old and I have two kids, ages 3 and 1/2 and 7. I am a Colorado native who grew up in the mountains. I participated in team sports such as volleyball and basketball growing up and transitioned to more lifestyle sports like scuba diving and hiking as an adult. I now spend most of my time trying to keep up with my kids.
I am a full time working mother of two beautiful children and wife to my wonderful, supportive husband. Life is often chaotic, between work, kid’s activities, and maintaining a home. I first joined a gym when I was 18 and have exercised in some format, fairly consistently ever since then. I truly love exercise and the way it makes me feel and wish I had more time than I do to exercise. However, I also love to cook and love to eat. This makes keeping weight off a difficult task. This year I turned 40 and I feel just by hitting that number it has gotten even harder to keep the weight off. My focus has suddenly changed towards maintaining good health and being a good health and fitness role model for my kids. I want to be able to remain active for many, many more years to come.
I first tried Fit Soldiers after buying a LivingSocial deal. I was doing a different boot camp program before coming to Fit Soldiers (that I also purchased from a daily deal site). I loved Fit Soldiers and stayed because the trainers really made me feel like they cared about my journey. I wasn’t just another person. I also love that the workouts are always different. I tend to get bored doing the same workout routine repeatedly. In the past when I got bored I’d quit working out for a few months and then hit a point where I was fed up with the way I felt and start something new again. At Fit Soldiers, I never get bored. I like that every time I come in the workout will be different and I have no idea what it will be until I get there.
I have always been at least somewhat mindful of my health. I would exercise on my own, and did little things here and there. However, I didn’t have a true vision for my health & fitness. In 2012, I decided to get serious. I knew that meant cleaning up my diet, and seriously stepping up my workouts. In 2013, a friend of mine told me about Fit Soldiers, so I tried a couple of the boot camp workouts in the park. In February of 2014 I became a member and have never looked back!
